Electrical infrastructure upgrades
Electrical infrastructure upgraded at Botany Street Substation
The H25 Botany Street Substation 12 project delivered essential electrical upgrades to improve the reliability and safety of UNSW’s infrastructure. The work involved replacing aging and unmaintainable high and low voltage equipment, including a new transformer and updated main switchboards, while maintaining power supply to live areas throughout the project.
The project team managed complex staging and tight site conditions to minimise disruption to surrounding facilities and the adjacent car park. Despite encountering some unforeseen site conditions, the team implemented well planned solutions that kept the project on track.
