I started early in construction, working on-site for the family business before running my own engineering consultancy and then holding senior project & commercial manager roles delivering major projects in Australia, the UK and Ireland. This included the delivery of projects for TfNSW, Sydney Metro, TAFE NSW, Health Infrastructure NSW, the Barangaroo Delivery Authority and Westconnex. I am a chartered engineer with experience across various sectors including residential, commercial, transport, health, education and mining. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Construction Engineering (Hons) and a Masters degree in International Construction Law. After embarking on my PhD I founded 'Xpede', a startup aiming to develop software that will de-risk construction payments for the entire supply chain through transparency and process optimisation.
