Kate is an EdD candidate. She is researching career change teachers' (CCTs) lived experiences in secondary schools in New South Wales. Her current project explores CCTs' perceptions of their positioning in professional interactions. It extends to an examination of how CCTs' experience of positioning shapes the development of their professional agency. Kate completed an MA (Research) at UNSW in 2015. She is an experienced English teacher and has taught in regional and metropolitan high schools in New South Wales.
