Mahsa Zarrabi is a PhD student investigating the cooling effects of urban vegetation across multiple spatial scales using machine learning and remote sensing. Her research focuses on identifying vegetation configurations to maximize urban heat mitigation, with particular emphasis on reducing air temperature, land surface temperature, and minimizing human heat exposure. She is especially interested in the integration of satellite imagery, urban morphology datasets, and environmental modelling to support data-driven strategies for urban climate adaptation.
