Niki Graziella Baroy

Niki’s PhD research explores women’s roles in the energy transition, focusing on clean cooking in Vanuatu. Niki is the Senior Social Researcher at Western Sydney Regional Information and Research Service (WESTIR) Limited. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of the Philippines and a Master of Development Studies with Excellence from the University of New South Wales. She was a Teacher Fellow at Teach for the Philippines and a Consultant at The Asia Foundation, having served as the International Development Cooperation (IDC) Research and Future Skills Alliance (FSA) Operations Lead. Niki has tutored for ARTS1753 Culture, Experience and Change and was the head tutor for ARTS1750 Introduction to Global Development in 2025. She has guest lectured for SOCW7851 Community Development and ARTS3751 Leadership in International Development.
