Saunak Bhattacharjee
Currently, I am pursuing my PhD in Mathematics at UNSW Canberra under the supervision of Dr. Bryce Kerr. I completed my BS-MS Dual Degree from IISER Tirupati. I concluded my final year MS Thesis as a visiting student at The Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSc), Chennai, under the guidance of Dr. Anup Dixit.
My master's thesis is titled Heights and Integer Points on Elliptic Curves, it focuses on the application of heights on elliptic curves to study integer points. My CV is available here.
I am interested in Number Theory with an inclination towards Diophantine Geometry and Analytic Number Theory. My previous works include applying heights to effectively give an estimate on the sum of two cubes problem, studying composition of arithmetic functions and their distributions and applying sieve theory to a problem on Diophantine m-tuples.
