I am a K–12 educator and school leader with 25+ years’ experience, most recently as Director of Innovation. My work focuses on AI, robotics, and STEM to improve curriculum, assessment, and teacher practice. I design large-scale programs, lead professional learning for schools internationally, and translate emerging technology into practical classroom solutions.

AI as a Design Partner: Pedagogies for Teacher Co-Design with Generative AI. This DBA/DBR study examines how AI can operate as a design partner—not just a tool—by co-creating with teachers across the curriculum lifecycle (ideation, sequencing, resource creation, assessment and feedback). Through iterative design cycles with partner schools, it develops and tests professional-learning sequences that teach promptcraft, co-planning protocols, ethics/AI-safety, and evidence-seeking with AI, while measuring impacts on teacher agency, decision quality, and student learning. The outcome will be validated pedagogical frameworks and practical toolkits that enable educators to collaborate productively with AI in everyday design work.
