Maths & Stats Prize Giving Ceremony 2026

The School of Mathematics and Statistics held its annual prize-giving ceremony on Tuesday 3 March to celebrate exceptional achievement amongst its 2025 undergraduate and honours cohorts.

The prizes are awarded to students across different categories including: best performance in each year of study; best in each discipline; high achievers in the 2025 Simon Marais Mathematics Competition; and recipients of industry-sponsored awards for outstanding performance.

The prizes were presented by the Head of School, Professor Andrew Francis, and observed by members of academic staff and fellow undergraduate and honours students.

Congratulations to all of the 2025 prize winners for their hard work and outstanding achievements! A complete list of award recipients appears below.
