I completed my Master's in Biodiversity Conservation and Management in England, having studied Ethiopian wolves for my MSc dissertation. I returned to Australia to start my PhD on dingoes with the Myall Lakes Dingo/Dapin Project.
Supervised by: Neil Jordan and Ben Pitcher (co-primary), Adrian Fisher (secondary)
Project Title: Behavioural ecology of an Australian apex terrestrial predator
Project Description: Holding a prominent position in the Australian ecosystem means the actions of dingoes can have knock-on effects to other native, non-native, and invasive species. My project incorporates multi-year camera trap data from Myall Lakes National Park and GPS collar data from numerous sites in central and eastern Australia to understand the drivers of dingo movement and behaviour. Ultimately, we hope to shed light on how dingoes are navigating their increasingly-disturbed and changing landscapes.
