On the real zeros of half-integral weight Hecke cusp forms

Abstract

In this talk I will discuss recent work concerning the distribution of zeros of half-integral weight Hecke cusp forms of large weight on the surface $\Gamma_0(4)\backslash \H$. In particular, I will focus on the so-called real zeros, that is zeros on certain geodesic segments on which the cusp form takes real values, and give lower bounds for the number of these zeros.
