Alex has successfully completed a B.Sc (Hons) majoring in medical microbiology and immunology in 2015 at UNSW, Sydney. He finished with first class honours and published his first research paper in 2016 summerising his work on Campylobacter concisus pathotypes in gastroenteritis. In the same year, Alex started his PhD with VISP moving his research to HCV. He now specialises in B cell analyses, specifically broad neutralising antibodies and their importance for vaccine development in HCV.
