Emma Reeve
Emma is a Project Engineer at the Water Research Laboratory, with three years of experience working across floodplain and coastal management. She has a strong foundation in numerical modelling and geospatial analysis, with professional experience spanning hydraulics, hydrology, and hydrogeology.
Emma holds a double degree in Environmental Engineering and Environmental Science, with her studies focusing on flood mitigation, coastal management, fluvial geomorphology, and climate change policy. As a consultant, she has delivered flood and coastal projects across Australia, providing the technical foundation for decision making at local, state, and federal levels. Her expertise centres on the development of hydrologic and hydraulic numerical models, particularly those that capture interactions between riverine, estuarine, and coastal dynamics.
Driven by a deep appreciation for natural systems and their underlying processes, Emma values thoughtful technical work that helps bring clarity to the complex challenges facing aquatic environments under a changing climate.
