Mohsen Kalantari is an Associate Professor of Geospatial Engineering, Deputy Head (Education) in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Co-Founder of Faramoon. Recognised by leading scholarly databases, he is ranked among the world’s top five researchers in cadastre. He authored the first textbook on BIM–3D GIS integration for digital twins. An award-winning educator, he received honourable mentions from the UNSW Scientia Education Academy Exemplary Teaching Practice Awards in both 2024 and 2025. With deep industry engagement, he previously served as the Victorian Coordinator of ePlan, a nationwide land and survey information modernisation initiative, bringing extensive professional experience to his academic leadership.
