Dr Tony Zhang is a statistical consultant at the Stats Central, Mark Wainwright Analytical Centre, Division of Research & Enterprise.

Tony completed his PhD in Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the Otago Medical School, New Zealand, investigating the longitudinal development of lung function and early life origins of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Dr Zhang has extensive experience in statistical consulting, study design, statistical modelling, and data linkage studies, working across both the public sector and higher education. As an epidemiologist, his expertise spans respiratory, geriatric, and reproductive epidemiology, with a strong track record of collaborative research.
