Set yourself up for success in the HSC and beyond
Whether you're in your final years of high school or if you've finished school, you can explore your interest and get tailored support on how to apply to uni. Take part in workshops, on-campus days and online learning, and gain support in applying for the Gateway Admission Pathway to fast-track your entry into UNSW.
You’re in your final years of high school, which means now is the time to start exploring your options after graduation.
Our Gateway Program gives you a taste of uni life, so you can head into the HSC and feel confident that you’re on the right path.
From 4 May | Access the online learning hub
Interactive resources offering subject-specific academic support, faculty and degree information and advice about the transition to university.
22–25 June | Live sessions through the online learning hub
A week-long series of live sessions, from practice papers to subject-specific advice, delivered by HSC teachers and markers, UNSW staff and University Ambassadors. You'll also be able to get guidance on writing a personal statement for your Gateway Admission Pathway application.
8–9 July | On-campus days
Visit UNSW Sydney for a taste of uni life and join faculty-led workshops and academic masterclasses.
Wondering what comes after high school? Year 10 is a great time to start exploring your interests, discover uni pathways and think about the possibilities ahead. Delivered to Gateway partner schools through an interactive in-school workshop, see how your personal values can guide the decisions that shape your future.
To get involved, ask your careers adviser if your school is registered.
This program runs from 16 February – 13 March 2026.
What if my school isn't participating?
You can still explore your options and begin preparing for university on your own. Note: To apply through the Gateway Admission Pathway, you must be completing an Australian Year 12 qualification in the year of application or have completed one in the last five years.

If you attend a Gateway partner school, you’re welcome to participate in the Gateway Program. While the Gateway Admission Pathway is only available to students who hold an eligible visa, there are other ways we can support you on your journey to UNSW.

If you’re in Year 12 or completed an Australian Year 12 qualification within the past five years, you may be eligible for the Gateway Admission Pathway. If successful, you could receive an early offer to UNSW or an early conditional offer with a reduced ATAR requirement for your chosen degree.
