🚀 Do your academic skills need a boost? 

Academic Confidence Essentials (ACE) are a set of modules covering key academic skills you'll need to succeed at UNSW. 

The ACE modules are:

  • Online
  • Self-paced
  • Designed to take about 20 minutes each
  • Free for UNSW students. 

You can take the modules as many times as you need to. Each module will help you master a different academic concept or skill and contains plenty of information and interactive activities.  

What topics are available?

Academic Confidence Essentials cover:

  1. Breaking down your assessment
  2. Critical thinking
  3. Evaluating evidence
  4. Integrating evidence (including quoting, paraphrasing and summarising)
  5. Paragraph structure
  6. Essay structure
  7. Report writing.

🔑 To access the Academic Confidence Essentials, enrol on Moodle using the student enrolment key: academic skills.
