Find out what you need to know to confirm your graduation ceremony attendance and receive your testamur.

Congratulations on completing your studies!

Graduation marks a significant milestone that acknowledges your hard work and dedication. Once you’ve completed your degree, we’ll email you important details about your conferral date and graduation ceremony, including how to confirm your attendance.

All students must RSVP through the Reed Events portal, even if you’re not attending a ceremony.

If you're unable to attend your allocated ceremony, you must let us know as soon as possible upon receiving your invite. This step is essential to confirm your details and ensure you receive your official Testamur (degree certificate).

Graduation attendance options

When completing your RSVP for graduation, you'll be asked to:

Choose one of the following ceremony options:
- Yes, I wish to attend a ceremony in March 2026
- No, I cannot attend and will not attend a ceremony in the future
- Defer - I wish to defer my ceremony. Please note this is a one-time deferral option to the next round of ceremonies from 17 - 22 August 2026.

If you are not attending your graduation ceremony, you will then be asked to:
Select one of the following Testamur delivery options:
- Domestic (within Australia): $30
- International (outside Australia): $55
- No, I do not want a physical copy of my Testamur.

If you want to defer your ceremony, use the RSVP portal to select "Defer - I wish to defer my ceremony". Students who make this selection will receive an email with further instructions closer to the next ceremony period. Please note this is a one-time deferral and the next round of ceremonies will be held from 17-22 August 2026.

Privacy notice

The University films and takes photos at all graduation ceremonies.

This material is used by the University for the purpose of promoting its activities via its website, social media channels, newsletters and other communication devices. The University may also provide such material to media organisations for publication, transmission or broadcast.

Please notify the University via The Nucleus: Student Hub if you do not wish to appear in such materials.
